About Alfred Fox: Website Designer / Developer

Hello, Welcome to my website. My name is Alfred Fox. I am a Freelance Web Designer. I am located in the great state of Kansas, and while there isn't a whole lot of anything going on here, it's a great place to be. The people are nice, the weather is great, and it's a great place to raise a family.

I've been a huge fan of website design for quite some time now. I've been in the industry for quite a few years and have seen a large range of websites and designers. I've found that many things come and go. One thing that remains consistent, however, is a need for websites. Individuals, corporations, mom and pop shops, etc can all benefit from a website. I make it my aim to help people fill that need at a price they can afford.

Freelance Website Design? Am I even qualified to build your website?
Many people have misconceptions about freelance website design. Let me take this opportunity to clear the air. You may ask why I choose to do website design as a freelancer as opposed to a large corporation or business. The answer is simple. Having worked for several very large corporations in the past I see a value in smaller based operations. There are many things as a freelancer my customers and I don't have to deal with.

Lower Pricing
As a freelancer, I am not required to charge exorbitant prices for my services. I have no employees and I do not require the services of subcontractors. Being 100% self-sufficient saves my customers a lot of money. I am able to offer the same services as any design company for a fraction of the cost.

Faster Turnaround
Unlike many design companies who have to rely on several different smaller companies or groups of website specialists, I am able to do everything in-house. Meaning... I have the ability to accomplish every aspect of your website design without the delays caused by many of the hangups that arise when dealing with third parties.

A More Personal Experience
This is my favorite part of what I do. I am able to offer each one of my customers a much more personal experience. You never have to worry about your website as it's in good hands. I give each one of my customers the opportunity to speak with me as often as they like to answer questions, discuss ideas, and ensure that the website they're receiving is exactly what they're looking for. Unfortunately larger web design firms are unable to offer this as they are simply spread too thin. You may call in and get someone you've never spoke with before or even worse, you may not be able to call at all. I completely eliminate this headache.

Conclusion
If you are looking to have a website built, visit my contact page. I will be happy to answer any questions you have about pricing, the design process, or anything else you may be wondering about. Having a website built should be an exciting time free of stress and headache. Thanks for dropping by, feel free to check out the rest of the website.

That is a very good question. In fact, I think a lot of people have misconceptions about what a freelancer actually is (designer, developer, writer - it all applies). Obviously every freelancer is going to have a different take on what they consider themselves to be but I'm fairly confident that...

I've been coming across a lot of older websites using some pretty horrific fonts. Long story short I couldn't sleep and decided to make a T-Shirt idea. Now I just need to figure out how to make T-Shirts. Even worse than coming across old sites with bad fonts is coming across new websites with ba...
